The Hot Springs Village Evening Lions Club has a long and powerful tradition of service here in the Village. We were the first civic club formed in Hot Springs Village and are the largest Lions club in Arkansas.
Our Lions have raised over $1,500,000 since the club’s charter in 1972. These funds have gone to support organizations, both locally and regionally, that help the sight and hearing impaired and promote diabetes awareness, youth activities, and other civic needs. Lions Clubs International is celebrating 100 years of service by launching the Centennial Service Challenge –a goal of serving 100 million people throughout the world by June 30, 2018. Village Lions Clubs are currently busy planning Legacy Centennial projects that will benefit Hot Springs Village for years to come.
If you are looking for a place to have an important impact on our community, serve those less fortunate than ourselves, and enjoy the camaraderie and fellowship of the club’s members, you are welcome and needed at the Evening Lions Club.
The men and women of the Hot Springs Village Evening Lions invite you to participate in achieving the Lions motto: “We Serve.”
Please contact Ed Smith, Membership Chairman, at firstname.lastname@example.org or click on “Contact Us” on the club’s website.
Lions are a group of service-minded men and women who are interested in improving their community, Hot Springs Village. We are young people, families, Seniors and Baby Boomers alike. To become a Lion is to become an active volunteer, a member of a respected international organization, a leader in our community and a friend to people in need.
To become a Lion, you must be of legal majority, good moral character and hold a good reputation in your community.
Membership is by invitation, so contact us today or come to one of our meetings to see if the Lions Club is a good fit for you!
Lions are working in the Village to help the environment, provide vision and hearing services, and, aid in diabetes awareness. To celebrate our upcoming Centennial, we are working on new and exciting projects for Hot Springs Village. Since our Club charter in 1972, the Evening Lions have contributed over $1,476,787 to local, state and national charities.
